So, what does an Apprentice Technician actually do?

As our Apprentice Technician, you will be part of an industry leading programme designed to develop the best Engineers.  We will pair you with an experienced engineer who will guide and mentor you through the initial phase of your career.  You’ll be involved in the design and delivery of some of our exciting projects across a range of disciplines.  We will teach you how to use programmes such as Computer Aided Design (CAD) to produce drawings for building and infrastructure projects.  You will learn technical skills such as civil engineering calculations and report writing.

About You

Capabilities and Qualifications:

No previous experience is required.  You will be a positive and proactive team player who demonstrates enthusiasm for engineering and willingness to apply themselves in a work place environment. In addition, you must have the following:

  • A keen interest in Civil Infrastructure.
  • 5x GCSEs including a minimum of an upper C in Maths and English.
  • A good level of computer literacy including MS Office.
  • The ability to work well in a team and to work on their own initiative.
