Peter Brett Associates, now part of Stantec, are seeking a Senior Associate Project Manager to join our busy and expanding multi-disciplinary practice in Cambridge.

In April 2019 we will move to a newly-built City Centre office, conveniently located next to Cambridge train station, which will help further facilitate our growth by proving a stronger link to our other teams at surrounding PBA offices, and greater visibility to our clients.

The Senior Associate Project Manager will be charged with building and growing relationships vital to the success of projects, both internal and external.  You’ll be an experienced developer of new business capable of identifying and capturing opportunities with existing and new clients, including cross-selling opportunities.

As a senior member within the project management function, you’ll embrace the challenge of leading, mentoring and developing the team around you to support the further growth of our people.

You’ll lead project management from start to finish, acting as a primary interface to new and existing clients to ensure successful delivery.  This will include defining project scope, goals and deliverables, developing project plans, estimating resources, budget proposals and changes, and ensuring projects are delivered in a timely and commercially successful manner.
About You

The Senior Associate Project Manager will be a positive and forward-thinking practitioner, and ideally a member of a professional institution of projects.  You’ll display:

  • A detailed record of successful project management – preferably within quality building projects, containing laboratories and / or for higher education establishments
  • Proven commercial capability with a track record of building relationships and capitalising on opportunities
  • Organisational, planning and time management skills
  • Logical thinking with creative problem solving ability
  • Great attention to detail and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent IT skills and technical skills relevant to the project
