If this sounds like something that appeals to you then look no furtherthan Peter Brett Associates, now part of Stantec.  Currently we have an exciting opportunity for a graduate to join our Transport Planning team in Glasgow/Edinburgh. You will have the opportunity to work as part of a passionate team of professionals who are involved in a wide variety of transport projects both locally and nationally.

As a graduate you’ll get to work on exciting and challenging projects and progress through our 2-year programme as part of our graduate community.  You’ll receive high-quality on-the-job training, participate in our structured support programmes, and join in our many graduate social activities.

You will support teams in transport planning, transport modelling and transport economics and your role will include the following tasks:

  • Providing technical support on a range of transport projects across the UK, including transport modelling, forecasting and appraisal;

  • Managing and analysing large data sets;

  • Conducting primary and desk-based research to support planning and transport projects;

  • Task and Project management - delivering tasks to time and budget; and

  • Preparing material for fee proposals and tenders.

About You

You will have a keen interest in Transport Planning, demonstrated through your studies and extra-curricular activities. You’ll have plenty ofpositive energy, a desire to learn and a passion for Transport.

You’ll be undertaking an BSc/BA orMSc/MA in Transport Planning, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Operational Research or equivalent . You’ll be working to achieve a minimum 2:1 classification and preferably have undertaken relevant work experience or placements.  Finally, you mustbe eligible to work in the UK at the time you start employment.
